You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively for your patients. Prepare your patients' care area adequately before case + Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patients' procedure + Review your patients' charts for completeness prior to surgery + Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed + Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required + 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery + Active RN license as required by state of employment + online certification not acceptable + PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire TCA Special Surgery Center ( islocated in the Texas Center for Athletes, in San Antonio, Texas.
