We have an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician in the Greenwood, Nebraska area. This position is ideal for physicians seeking a flexible work schedule in a dynamic emergency department with single coverage and strong support staff. Locum Tenens - Emergency Medicine Physician
Shifts: Example shifts: Coverage Type: Emergency Department duties
Physician with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs); APP charts cosigned by physicians
EMR System: EPIC (with Dragon dictation)
Routine ER duties, including codes; Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with at least 10 years of Emergency Department experience
Active Nebraska medical license preferred, but candidates willing to obtain will be considered
Experience: Must have actively practiced as an Emergency Medicine Physician within the last 12 months or completed an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months
Patient and Facility Information:
Single Coverage: One physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP) during shifts
Specialty Backup: Easy transfer process to larger facilities for additional specialty support
Holiday Rate: 1.5x regular rate for holiday hours
Orientation Rate: Half of the hourly rate for any orientation beyond 8 hours
