We are looking for a new Infant and Toddler Caregiver to care for our next group of employee infants. An attached pdf or word document of your resume is required with online application. Provide a safe, healthy, and secure environment with an emphasis on children's social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive needs Perform daily child care duties as assigned including feeding, diapers, play, and naps Register in the PDIS and complete all required training courses including 15 hours of continuing education/year provide documentation to the Director Work with the Director, early learning specialists, and families to create and implement behavior plans for children with challenging behavior Help plan and lead family nights including back-to-school nights Monitor children for illness and follow our procedures for sending sick children home Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Must demonstrate an interest in young children and a concern for their proper care and well-being Flexibility to care for children of all ages birth-5 years Ability to provide positive guidance and redirection to all children, at all times Ability to adhere to all health and safety policies and program policies and procedures Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards The Infant and Toddler Primary Caregiver must be qualified as an Infant Program Supervisor, a registered nurse, or at the very least, an Infant Program Early Childhood Teacher. An adult who holds a current Early Childhood Professional credential level III version 2.0 The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: Starting at $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Ability to lift, carry, and position children up to 40 pounds Must be able to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, talking, and sitting on the floor Must successfully complete background & fingerprint check Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
