With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of largescale projects across multiple sites internationally. As an Engineering Manager for Google Home Platform Cloud Provider Integrations, you will lead a team responsible for the lifecycle of how firstparty and thirdparty device providers connect their devices and report to the Google Home Platform. Your team will own the cloud services and APIs that manage device synchronization, realtime state management, and command execution routing. You will drive the strategy and execution for enhancing our provider APIs, improving data quality, reliability, and scale. You will collaborate with various Google Home Platform (GHP) teams, and partner engineering teams. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our firstparty devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world. Responsibilities Manage systems handling device lifecycle, data ingestion, cloudbased device control paths, and intelligent routing mechanisms. Set the technical direction, drive engineering excellence, and grow a team. Work at the intersection of cloud services, device ecosystems, and smart home technologies. Collaborate across time zones with engineering stakeholders. Manage a team of 810 software engineers, optimizing our infrastructure to support traditional apps, voice assistants, and new LLMbased experiences.
