Pay Range

~ Hourly rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
As a Parts Specialist, you will:
Provide backup support to the Yard Coordinator.
Work in the back counter to supply service technicians with parts.
Receive and process parts and equipment orders from various departments or external suppliers.
Receive and put in place inventory, store parts, equipment, and materials in the warehouse.
Provide excellent customer service according to the company's Customer Expectations Policy.
Monitor and follow up on parts shortages and expedite orders as required by the Parts Supervisor.
Maintain detailed records of all parts transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
Operate in the warehouse and assist in shipping and receiving.
May assist in transporting parts, small equipment, and related supplies to other locations/customers.
May sell parts to customers at the front counter using John Deere-specific software.
Maintain an accurate inventory and cycle counts of all parts at the location.
Maintain records of pickup, deliveries, and obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
Assist in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment.
Utilize the surplus return program in line with the owner-group policy.
Verify the accuracy of orders, including part numbers, quantities, and specifications.
Coordinate the perpetual or annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
Rotating work schedules, including Saturdays.
May include occasionally working from other Belkorp Ag locations.
Occasional travel to other locations for training and deliveries or operational support, including transporting parts as needed.
Participation in the on-call program.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and showroom.
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
Promote and sell products and services to customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you should have:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling and storing parts and equipment.
Working knowledge of parts, machinery, and a basic understanding of inventory management principles.
Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift and order picker - prior experience preferred
Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer applications.
Ability to work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to write and speak effectively.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
