We are seeking a highly skilled Google Looker Data Modeler & Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data models and visualization solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role plays a critical part in building and maintaining LookML data models, developing insightful reports and dashboards in Looker Studio, and ensuring robust data governance and security.
Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain scalable LookML models. Define dimensions, measures, calculated fields, and data relationships to meet evolving business requirements.
Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources while maintaining a unified semantic layer in Looker.
Create interactive, visually engaging dashboards and reports in Looker Studio with filtering, parameters, and drill-down capabilities.
Data Governance & Security: Manage Looker application administration including user roles, permissions, and access controls in alignment with governance standards.
Provide training and guidance to end-users to enhance adoption and ensure effective use of Looker tools.
Insight Generation: Collaborate with analysts and business teams to develop meaningful insights and data-driven recommendations.
Continuously refine data processes, improve model performance, and contribute to overall data quality initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics , or a related field.
~5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
~2–3 years of hands-on experience with Google Looker (LookML development and Looker Studio dashboards) .
~ Proficiency in ETL concepts , data integration, and relational database management.
~ Strong understanding of data governance, data security , and user access control.
~ Experience with other BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
