Position: Machine Operator Location: Swanton, VT (Onsite) Type: Full Time, Year-Round Training: On-the-Job Training Provided SHIFTS: 3rd: Sunday-Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am 2nd: 2nd 3:30 pm -12 am 1st: Monday - Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm Job Highlights: Shifts: Multiple Shifts Available Experience: No Experience Needed for some roles - Comprehensive On-the-Job Training Responsibilities: Setup, operate, and troubleshoot manual grinding and/or CNC grinding equipment to produce top-notch medical parts. Machine Operator Job Duties: CNC Programming: Understand basic CNC programming to utilize existing programs for setting up production runs and make modifications if necessary. Data Entry: Perform basic data entry functions to ensure smooth operations. Grinding Operations: Operate manual tool grinders, disk grinders, and centerless grinders with precision. Quality Control: Utilize measuring equipment to inspect the produced product, ensuring accurate diameter. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. *Who makes a good Machine Operator? * Able to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions * Mechanically inclined, preferred * Perform basic computer skills and the ability to operate in a Windows and non-Windows format * Ability to establish and maintain a professional and effective working relationship with co-workers and other employees at all levels in the organization * Effective written and / or oral communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization * Ability to work independently and with multiple tasks * Ability to work within an atmosphere of continuous improvement and teamwork. * Quality-oriented with attention to details * Familiarity with LEAN principles and waste elimination is a plus * Must be 18 years of age * Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of criminal background investigations as well as passing a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen Apply today for your interview for these entry-level Machine Operator Positions.
