Electrical Engineer (PCB), South LA, $120,000-165,000+ equity + healthcare
Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC) sought for a fast-growth startup business who are hugely scaling and are massively mission driven - focused on water sustainability and science through groundbreaking technology & innovation. The Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC) will lead the design and development of advanced PCB-based power electronics that drive cutting edge water desalination products.

As a Electrical Engineer (PCB/DC), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical and system level requirements as well as lead PCB design efforts, focused on layout and components.

Location: Torrance, California

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and optimize power electronics, such as DC converters and motor drives
Evaluate electrical components to ensure design and reliability as well as environmental goals
Conduct verification and validation testing and iterate on designs to ensure robust and reliable performance
Work closely on system integration efforts with both mechanical and firmware engineers
Focus on DFM/DFT activities to ensure scalability

Qualifications:
~ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
~2+ years experience in PCB design and power electronics (though will consider strong academic background or 1+ year experience)
~ Well-versed with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle)
~ Good understanding of power circuit and EMI sensitive designs
~ Basic understanding of microcontrollers and digital circuit design


This role is offering between $120,000-165,000 depending on experience + equity + healthcare plus other benefits
