Job Overview: Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology. Certification Requirements: Applicants must hold current certification as a registered nurse anesthetist or provide evidence of an application to take the CRNA boards. Employment Type: Full-time position within the ECU Physicians-Community Practice Model. Hospital Privileges: Privileges at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, a vital component of a growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system. Work Schedule and Benefits: Work Hours: Monday to Friday, following a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM schedule. A unique 3 weeks on/1 week off rotation, providing 13 weeks off each year. Call Responsibilities: Shared call with other CRNAs, involving one day per week and one weekend per month. Surgical Case Load: Manage an average of 230 surgical cases per month, covering general surgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and endoscopies. Moonlighting Opportunities: Explore additional professional opportunities through moonlighting.
