Collaboration: Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and contractors to integrate structural systems into overall project designs. Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, foundation evaluation, structural inspections, and ensure compliance with design documents, and address any structural issues that may arise. Problem-Solving: Identify and solve complex structural problems, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions. Mentorship: Potentially mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree is preferred. Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Structural Engineer (SE) license is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in structural engineering design. Technical Skills : Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D). Strong knowledge of building codes, including the International Building Code (IBC) and ASCE 7.
