Saint Paul MN, United States Critical Coordination Full time

Who We Are We are a specialized manufacturer of custom power whips for data centers. We don't just build cables; we save the day. Our customers rely on us for 24-48 hour turnarounds on complex, custom orders that other shops refuse to touch. We are entering a massive growth phase—scaling from $2M to a projected $8M next year. To support this, we have partnered with top-tier manufacturing consultants (UW-Stout MOC) to design our operational architecture. Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity. We run on EOS® (The Entrepreneurial Operating System). This means we operate with absolute clarity on our Vision, we maintain high Traction through weekly accountability, and we value a Healthy team culture. We are looking for a Technical Manufacturing Lead to partner with our consultants, own the Product Engineering, and lead the Production Team on the floor. The Mission We are splitting the "Operations" challenge. Our external Lean Consultants will handle the high-level process design and layout. We need YOU to be the Technical Captain. You will take full ownership of the Product (Specs, Safety, Prototyping) and the People (Daily Supervision, Training). You will be the technical authority who figures out how to build the difficult orders and the leader who ensures the team executes them with excellence. Core Values To succeed here, you must live by these principles. They are the rules we play by. Integrity: Always act with honesty, ethical rigor, and transparency, earning the trust of our clients, partners, and team members. Anticipate, Take Initiative, and Own the Outcome: Proactively identify challenges and opportunities, move decisively to address them, and take full accountability for all results. Deliver Fast and Smart: Execute projects with both efficiency and intelligence, prioritizing high-quality work and effective problem-solving to meet aggressive timelines. Excellence, Always: Commit to the highest standards of quality, performance, and professionalism in every task, process, and deliverable. Be the Person People Want to Work With: Cultivate strong, respectful, and collaborative relationships, contributing positively to the culture of the team and the client experience. What You Will Do Be the Technical Brain: You are the "Chief Engineer" of the floor. When a customer requests a custom configuration, you determine the specs, wire gauge, and connectors (NEMA/IEC) to ensure UL compliance and safety. Own the Prototype (NPI): You physically build the "First Article" for complex custom orders. You prove it works, create the build standard, and then train the floor on how to replicate it. Lead the Production Floor: Manage the daily schedule of the assembly team. Ensure we hit our daily output goals and that quality checks are rigorously followed. Partner on Process: Work with our Lean Manufacturing Consultants to implement new layouts and workflows. You will be the "boots on the ground" ensuring these new processes stick. Supply Chain Resilience: Anticipate material shortages before they stop the line. Work with vendors to find technical equivalents when standard parts are backordered so we can keep shipping fast. Your EOS® Responsibilities As a leader in an EOS organization, you will operate within a structured rhythm of accountability: Own Your Rocks: You will own quarterly 90-Day goals ("Rocks") regarding production efficiency, safety standards, or new product integration, and you will be responsible for completing them. Scorecard Management: You will track and report weekly KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, Labor Utilization) to ensure the department is on track. GWC: You must clearly Get the role, Want the role, and have the Capacity to execute it. Education & Certifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering OR an Associate’s Degree with equivalent high-level trade experience. IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification: Strong preference for candidates certified in (or capable of teaching) the Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. Lean Six Sigma: A Green Belt or higher is strongly preferred (or a willingness to obtain it immediately), as you will be working directly with Lean consultants. Safety Standards: OSHA 10/30 certification and working knowledge of UL 508A (Industrial Control Panels) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards are highly valued. The Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 5+ years in electrical manufacturing, wire harness assembly, or a similar technical trade. The "Hybrid" Skillset: You are comfortable reading a complex schematic, calculating amperage loads, AND managing a team of 10+ people. You are part Engineer, part Shop Foreman. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of UL standards, NEC codes, and power distribution components. Growth Mindset: You aren't looking for a slow corporate job. You want to be part of a company that is quadrupling in size and building something new. Why Join Us? Impact: You aren't just a number. You are the technical leader of the facility. Mentorship: You will work alongside high-level manufacturing consultants, gaining "Master's Degree level" experience in Lean scaling and process architecture. xrczosw The Upside: Competitive base salary with bonuses tied to our growth goals and scorecard metrics.
