GERIATRICIAN (INTERNAL OR FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN) Details: Full scope Geriatrics and primary care (workload may initially be more primary care as the geriatrics practice builds), including comfort in complex disease management of the elderly Site will include co-location with Dentistry, Endocrinology, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Optometry, and Diabetes Nurse Education Weekday telephone call up to 5 weeknights a month for primary care, weekend call approximately 1 in every 6 weekends for primary care, and holiday call once a year Strong collaboration with Physician Assistants and Advance Practice Registered Nurses Teaching and research opportunities through affiliated academic partners, including academic title and resources Opportunity for leadership and performance improvement project involvement Documentation in eClinical Works electronic health record Billing submission at the time of office visit is expected Team based care of two (2) Providers, four (4) Medical Assistants, one (1) nurse, one (1) care coordinator, and one (1) behavioral health worker Our Benefits/Financial Package Base salary range: $190K-$220K, based on experience and supervision duties Income Distribution Program available J-1/H-1 Visa Candidates are welcomed Educational loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps Up to $50K Up to $75K for MAT Providers Sign-on bonus Relocation allowance Paid Time Off 20 days, plus 7 Holidays Malpractice insurance coverage through Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) Medical, Dental, Vision, Critical, Accidental, and Whole Life Insurance Company supplemented Health Savings Account (HSA) Company paid Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability Medication Assisted Treatment for Substance Abuse Training (MAT) Company match 401k up to 4% Annual License Reimbursement $1,500.00 Annual Continuing Education (CME) $2,500.00 E-consult resources for provider Faculty appointment at the University of St. Joseph for eligible provider Academic resources available Professional development resources
