TLM is seeking a strategic and analytical Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across our operations. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive data-informed decisionmaking, optimize financial outcomes, and support long-term growth initiatives.
The Head of FP&A will oversee budgeting processes, financial modeling, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices. This position plays a key role in shaping TLM's financial strategy and operational success.
This position reports to the CFO.
Lead the development and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across the organization.
Build and maintain dynamic financial models that clearly communicate historical performance, future projections, and strategic pathways.
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership team on highimpact initiatives, including facility expansion, product line development, and capital strategy.
Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and longterm planning.
Evaluate ROI and payback periods for major projects and initiatives.
Monitor and analyze key operating metrics including log supply, mill efficiency, production throughput, and customer economics.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform operational and strategic decisions.
Design and implement scalable systems, processes, and tools for financial planning and analysis.
Establish best practices for data integrity, reporting automation, and crossfunctional collaboration.
Own the architecture of FP&A infrastructure, including dashboards, templates, and workflows.
8+ years of finance experience, ideally with at least 3 years leading FP&A in a scaling company.
~ Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrials is a big plus but not required if you've got a builder's mindset.
~ Master of financial modeling, and comfortable zooming out to the big picture.
~ Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA / CFA nice to have but not required.
