Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Field Refrigeration Technician to join our team in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in either refrigeration technician or HVAC roles, with a strong understanding of commercial refrigeration units. The role requires independent work on the field, servicing various units such as walk-in freezers, refrigerators, AC units, chillers, and ice makers. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial refrigeration units. Diagnose issues and make necessary adjustments or replacements of defective parts. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of refrigeration systems. Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies to minimize downtime for clients. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts inventory. Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding proper usage and maintenance of refrigeration units. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in refrigeration technician or HVAC roles. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various commercial refrigeration units. Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls. Familiarity with walk-in freezers, refrigerators, AC units, chillers, and ice makers. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in refrigeration technology or HVAC.
