Plans and provides equipment and supplies based on procedure and physician needs. Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care. Demonstrates flexibility to perform other functions within the Cath Lab and in the Holding Area to assist in the smooth operation of the department. Analyzes pertinent data, communicates findings and documents information appropriately. Actively looks at improving patient care and process improvement. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital. Maintains a safe working environment to include radiation safety/appropriate personal protection attire. Communicates effectively with peers, managers, ancillary departments and other customers. Contributes to orientation/training of new staff (level II and above) Required: entry level position for the cath lab, one year experience as an allied health care professional or one year experience as a CVS in a cath lab setting.
