Job Summary and QualificationsThe Director of ICU has full authority and responsibility for the administration and supervision of the Intensive Care Unit. You will oversee the operations of several units/departments in accordance with hospital and nursing department philosophy, policies, procedures, protocols and standards. You will develop a professional climate within the nursing units. You will develop departmental goals consistent with hospital/system strategic plans and operations. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateRegistered Nurse Bachelors Degree 3-7 years of experience Five (5) years of clinical experience in the ICU with demonstrated management progression; David's Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare, is a comprehensive medical facility with three locations: St. David's Medical Center, Heart Hospital of Austin, and St. David's Georgetown Hospital.
