What You Will Do Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams Develop executive compensation strategies, philosophies, and incentive programs that address clients attraction and retention needs Provide consulting services to senior management and Compensation Committees on compensation issues, including pay competitiveness, performance measurement, short and longterm incentive plan design, governance, and regulatory implications Manage daytoday client interactions, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring quality deliverables Generate revenue by developing new client relationships, extending existing engagements, and identifying crossselling opportunities What You Need To Have Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field Extensive (8+ years) of experience in executive compensation consulting or related HR advisory roles, with demonstrated subjectmatter expertise Proven ability to manage multiple, largescale projects and complex client engagements (e.g., public, private, familyowned, preIPO, PEbacked companies) Deep expertise in executive compensation practices and trends, and approaches to cash and equitybased incentives Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, such as executives and Boards of Directors Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problemsolving What Makes You Stand Out Experience scoping and leading delivery of client engagements on complex executive compensation challenges Demonstrated success in leading or supporting business development activities Advanced analytical skills and familiarity with equity administration tools Demonstrated leadership in developing innovative solutions and thoughtleadership content Why Join Mercer Professional development opportunities and supportive leadership to help you grow A vibrant, inclusive culture where you can collaborate with talented colleagues A broad range of career opportunities and comprehensive benefits to support your wellbeing A flexible hybrid work model balancing remote work with inoffice collaboration Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan, is a global leader in helping clients realize their investment objectives, shape the future of work, and enhance health and retirement outcomes for their people.
