Occupational Therapy Assistant

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at our skilled nursing facility, you will play a vital role in helping individuals recover from illnesses, injuries, or surgeries and regain their independence.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with licensed therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on improving patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional function. Your duties will include:
Assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
Developing and implementing effective treatment plans that promote patient progress and independence
Providing education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for managing daily activities
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
Requirements:
0 years of experience (new graduates welcome)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and mobilize patients as needed
Valid California OT Assistant certification
