LHH is seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations at a manufacturing company located in Kent WA. This role is responsible for directing and maintaining production to serve internal and external customer groups. This person will drive efficiencies through continuous improvement across all areas including safety, quality, productivity, cost control, training and compliance. This person will be responsible for overseeing a staff of 50+ hourly employees.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee daily operations on the shop floor
Led, develop and train employees to create a positive, safe and productive working environment
Ensure highest quality of product is produced and maintain shift performance and quality documentation.
Manage staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet production goals
Lead and ensure compliance measures followed and participate in regular audits
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Kaizen principles
Develop, implement, monitor, track and improve key performance metrics across the functional departments

Qualifications needed:
~5+ years plus in a manufacturing
~ Experience in aerospace environment a plus
~ Proven leadership experience managing multi-shift operations and large teams
~ Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
~ Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach to leadership


Benefits Include:
Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 80 hours a year with an increase after tenure, 6 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave (Washington State). PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan
