Cambridge Associates is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Director to drive lead generation and pipeline building across all client types and service offerings within a dedicated U.This role is pivotal in expanding the firms reach, cultivating new relationships, and supporting the growth of our institutional and private client businesses.
Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across endowments, foundations, pensions, private clients, and other institutional segments.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects consistent activity and progress toward growth targets.
Relationship Building
Collaborate with practicewide business development programs to leverage firmwide networks, including existing clients and investment managers.
Utilize internal resources and crossfunctional teams to identify additional contacts and opportunities for relationship development.
Represent Cambridge Associates at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns in partnership with marketing and practice leaders.
Work closely with client solutions, investment, and marketing teams to ensure seamless handoff and onboarding of new clients.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, pipeline status, and relationship progress in CRM systems.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on regional business development performance and market trends.
Bachelors degree required; Minimum 7+ years of business development experience in financial services, investment management, or related fields.
Proven track record of lead generation, relationship management, and sales pipeline development.
Deep understanding of institutional and private client segments, with established networks in the assigned region.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performancebased bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
