Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and designing HVAC/R systems, with a focus on commercial refrigeration. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge, experience with schematics, and proficiency in using an ohmmeter, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in refrigeration equipment
- Design and install new refrigeration systems
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Utilize schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Drive company van to various job sites
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Familiarity with Ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
