Redmond WA, United States Microsoft Corporation Full time
Microsoft bets on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the next growth opportunity for the company. OpenAI, Mistral, and other Large language Model (LLM) driven innovations are happening throughout the industry.

Azure AI is focused on building a platform that makes it easy for both first party Microsoft teams and third party customers to build cutting edge applications on top of these large language models.

We are going through a product experience revamp to meet the demand created by LLMs, and we are at the forefront of introducing new capabilities that are vital to using LLMs in production while meeting enterprise security, isolation, and compliance requirements.

We are looking to hire a Software Engineer II to join the Azure AI Experiences Team. In this role, you will be working with a group of engineers who are currently working on new SDK experiences that make it easier for our customers to consume LLMs, and you will be working on the APIs and services that power those SDKs. These services also power Azure AI Foundry.

You will also participate in proposing and developing innovative solutions that span across multiple layers of technologies. You will be responsible for fully understanding requirements and providing solutions that match the needs.

As a team, we adopt a culture of meritocracy, bias towards taking big risks and failing fast, and value hacking together. You will join a team of talented engineers who love solving hard problems, embrace open source. If you are a service or SDK developer who is passionate about making AI accessible and solving challenging world problems, you should join us.

We do not just value differences or different perspectives. We seek them out and invite them in so we can tap into the collective power of everyone in the company. As a result, our customers are better served.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals.
