If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Become an Integral Part of Our Radiology Team We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced DX/IR Radiologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our radiology department by providing high-quality diagnostic interpretations and performing a variety of interventional procedures. This role offers a predictable schedule with weekdays only (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and no weekend hours at the designated facility. Why Choose Us? Supplement with IR Procedures: Complement your diagnostic expertise by performing a range of Interventional Radiology procedures, including basic IR (with occasional PE thrombectomy), thoracentesis, paracentesis, CT-guided drainages/biopsies, dialysis catheter placement, GI bleed embolization, and more. Work-Life Balance: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with a predictable schedule, allowing for ample time for personal and professional pursuits. Who You Are Board-certified in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Active Florida medical license and DEA registration are mandatory. A passion for radiology, a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment are essential. You possess strong clinical skills in both diagnostic radiology and a variety of IR procedures, including those listed above. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Additional Information This is a locum tenens position with a flexible schedule, with a minimum of 5 shifts required per month. The role offers the opportunity to participate in call coverage if you have the appropriate IR skillset. Weekend DX coverage is available for those interested (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The daily diagnostic volume is high, with a modality split of approximately: CT (54%), Angiography (0.12%), CT Angiography (0.9%), Mammography (0.6%), MR (2.5%), Nuclear Medicine (0.5%), and Ultrasound (11%). While this facility does not perform mammograms or breast biopsies, a bonus is offered if you possess these skills.
