Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Commercial Estimator specializing in ground-up construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bid proposals, and collaborating with project teams to ensure financial feasibility and competitiveness. Key Responsibilities Review project plans and specifications to identify scope of work and project requirements. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ground-up construction projects. Analyze and compare costs for labor, materials, and other project-related expenses. Develop and submit bid proposals to clients and stakeholders in a timely manner. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or client specifications. Maintain a database of past project costs for reference in future estimates. Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and pricing to enhance estimating accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction, preferably with ground-up projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
