This specialized role requires 5–10 years of experience in embedded systems hardware design, focusing on mixed signal design, PCB layout, and functional safety within the automotive or off-highway electronics industry . You will apply your expertise across the full design cycle, from schematic capture to system-level troubleshooting. Role Details Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $51 per hour. Location: 100% Onsite in Hartford, WI . What You’ll Be Doing Lead embedded systems hardware design , focusing on analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and MPU/MCU (microprocessor/microcontroller) integration. Utilize advanced hardware design tools for schematic capture, PCB layout , and circuit simulation, ensuring compliance with High Speed Design principles. Shutterstock Apply strong knowledge of Mixed Signal Design, EMI/EMC , and functional safety standards (IEC, ISO, SAE) to all designs. Troubleshoot complex hardware and system-level issues using common test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters) and implement corrective actions. Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable engineering specifications while ensuring adherence to relevant industry regulations. What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , or a related field. 5–10 years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering , preferably within the automotive or off-highway electronics industry . Strong foundation in embedded systems, including analog and digital circuit design and power electronics. Proficiency with hardware design tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation. Familiarity with OrCAD/Cadence design tools (CIS Schematic Capture, Allegro / PCB Editor, PSPICE) is preferred. Experience with communication technologies such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Bluetooth .
