Employed medical group has a unique opportunity for an experienced BC orthopedic surgeon. This surgeon will provide services predominantly to Regional Hospital an hour north of Detroit, with opportunity to also work with another hospital . The surgeon will be part of the larger Medical Group. Weekday call has no overnight responsibilities. Call days are determined in conjunction with the hospital administrative team. This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced orthopedic surgeon with the confidence to work with general surgery back up. The surgeon would be providing greatly-needed services to a rural region of patients. Regional Hospital is an independently owned, critical access hospital located in the heart of the Thumb Region of Michigan. Located in the heart of the Great Lakes Bay Region, it is the sixth largest hospital in Michigan with 643-beds and the regions only Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center including air medical transport service.
