We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a focus on the electrical side, to lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects, in North Carolina . Perfect for anyone based in Charlotte or planning to relocate/move back to around Charlotte . The ideal individual will have a background as an electrician/mechanic or in electrical engineering. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage projects under the direction of a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager, overseeing daily activities, task assignments, and compliance with company standards. Collaborate with clients to define scope, schedule, and resources; prepare detailed estimates and review plans, specifications, and bid documents. Establish project objectives, policies, and performance metrics while monitoring progress with field supervisors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Manage financial performance, including cost tracking, billing, profitability, and change orders, while proactively identifying and resolving project risks or issues. Review work from Assistant Project Managers, represent the organization in client meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering , or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry (or equivalent combination of experience and education). Experience with high, medium and low voltage is key. Tenure and loyalty is strongly valued. Collaborative mindset and adaptable with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Background with an electrical contractor or demonstrated experience in electrical construction environments.
