Are you an electrical whizz with a passion for space and technology? We're looking for an experienced Consulting Electrical Technician - Satellites to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, able to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and design innovative solutions. You'll be working on cutting-edge satellite technology, playing a key role in enabling global communications, weather monitoring, and space exploration. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a real-world impact, and to further develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Perform detailed electrical system testing, troubleshooting, and repair of satellite systems.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to electrical issues.
Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to design and implement electrical systems for satellites.
Provide expert consultation on RF technology, network configuration, and electrical testing.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in satellite technology and electrical engineering.
Ensure all electrical systems meet the necessary safety and performance standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful launch and operation of satellites.
Create comprehensive reports on system performance, issues, and solutions.
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical testing, RF technology, and network configuration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in using electrical diagnostic equipment and software.
