The Role

Our BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES CONSULTING PRACTICE group is looking for a Sr. Consulting Manager to join our journey. This role requires a deep understanding of Kyriba product & its payments solution.

The ideal candidate will possess experience of Kyriba solutions & integration to payment rails as Wire, ACH/EFT, cross border payments, remittances, Visa Direct, embedded payments.

We are looking for Sr. Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consulting Manager, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Responsibilities

- The individual will mainly work in Kyriba payment solution (messaging, processing, validation, and reporting) - Kyriba core offerings - Payments, Connectivity, Treasury Risk Management & Working Capital

- Partner with clients and project stakeholders and apply payments expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies.

- Lead Product implementation and enhancement of payment platforms such as Wires, ACH, Visa Direct payment systems.

- Payment Processing: Understand end-to-end payment processing cycle, ensuring all transactions are executed efficiently and securely.

- Validation and Reporting: Conduct thorough validation of payment transactions and generate comprehensive reports to track payment activities.

- Message Mapping: Experience Mapping messages accurately to facilitate smooth communication between different payment systems.

- Migration to Kyriba from other platforms

- API implementation for transaction processing.

- API Integration: Thorough understanding of payment APIs to streamline processes and enhance payment solutions. Ensure seamless integration and functionality.

- Thorough understanding of payment orchestration, messaging, remittance data & reconciliation

- Collaborate with and influence Cognizant project resources (e.g., service lines, SBUs, on/offshore delivery teams) and Partners on behalf of project goals, often-changing client needs, and client delight.

- Leverage specific engagement solutions as marketable Cognizant solution offerings.

- Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organizations.

Participate in People Care activities, Mentor and support less experienced Consultants for the practice's benefit.

Qualifications

- The track record and experience to achieve the above, which includes ideally 6-8+ years of management consulting experience, where at least 2 of those (though ideally 4+) have been Digital technology (business or technical consultative) team lead experience

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in Kyriba payment solution (messaging, processing, validation, and reporting) - Kyriba core offerings - Payments, Connectivity, Treasury Risk Management & Working Capital

Further, Kyriba's payment solution features as centralized payments hub, global payment connectivity, security & compliance, cash flow management, automation & ERP integration

- Experience of payment rails as ACH, Wires, Zelle

- Strong knowledge of payment APIs and message mapping techniques; Some knowledge on Peoplesoft.

- Well accustomed to JIRA/AGILE and documenting stories.

- Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a significant advantage.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with industry-standard payment platforms and protocols.

- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for payment processing and reporting.

- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payment industry.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.

- Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 25th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $98,800 - $182,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
