Full time position
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Experienced Team including Cardiothoracic Surgeons, APP’s and seasoned support staff

The Thoracic Surgery PA assists the supervising surgeon in the operating room, but also plays an integral role in the global management of patients undergoing cardiothoracic, vascular, or aortic surgery.
Includes all aspects of peri-operative care from performing patient histories and daily rounds to invasive surgical procedures, including the critical retrieval of vascular tissue in coronary bypass procedures
The PA also provides patient care expertise in the postoperative acute care units, step-down units and regular floors
participate in aortic clinic, endovascular vein harvesting

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Thoracic Surgery PA or Surgical PA required
Active CA Physician Assistant License in good standing
Graduate from an accredited PA program
Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred
Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.
