Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Echocardiography FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $42.01 - $58.82 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience SUMMARY: Unique opportunity to join the #1 Hospital and only academic medical center in the state of Colorado. The UCH Echocardiography Laboratory maintains accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in adult transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiography. Enormously fulfilling career with growth opportunity, including, but not limited to teaching junior cardiac sonographers and general cardiology fellows, participating in research projects, giving presentations at the biweekly echo conference. Participate in teaching, research, and echo conferences. Work in a supportive, fast-paced academic environment with balanced workload. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR associate's degree in allied health OR Bachelor's degree in any area. Required Licensure/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Minimum Experience: None Required. 1 year preferred. Credentials: Registered Sonographer, Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
