Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher role based in Florence, SC, available for both full-time and full school year contracts. Assignments are on-site at middle school and high school levels, focusing on supporting students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction as a self-contained/multi-categorical teacher for up to 15 high school students. Provide resource support at the middle school level for up to 33 students. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special education requirements. Collaborate with educators and support staff to accommodate student needs effectively. Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing progress reports. Qualifications: Valid multi-categorical or Learning Disabilities (LD) teaching license is required. Experience with self-contained and resource classroom settings preferred. Ability to manage caseloads of diverse students with varied learning needs. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Location: Florence, South Carolina This contract position requires on-site presence during the school year.
