Be a part of something special Responsibilities Provide software engineering and database support services across the full software development lifecycle. Perform operations and maintenance of applications, databases, and related COTS tools including SQL Server, Oracle, AutoCAD, and reporting tools. Design, develop, enhance, and modernize applications, including database-driven security, license tracking, and facility management systems. Support all phases of software development: requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation. Deliver and maintain project management, quality management, communications, and disaster recovery plans. Generate technical and management reports, maintain database integrity, and provide user training/support as required. Serve as a technical subject matter expert in database administration, software integration, and system enhancements. What You Need Strong foundation in software engineering, database administration, and systems analysis. Ability to manage multiple projects, prepare technical documentation, and support reporting and audit needs. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development and IT support Proficiency in VB.Net, Visual Basic, SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, AutoCAD, and Crystal Reports. Hands-on experience with system/database maintenance, upgrades, patching, and performance optimization. Expertise in database-driven applications, including security and facility management systems with CAD integration. Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Proven experience managing user account workflows and service request processes. Familiarity with IT security, audit, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, Section 508, DR/COOP). .NET Experience, particularly with legacy console applications Preferred Skills Experience supporting federal or enterprise-level IT environments. Strong background with reporting systems and automated data exports. Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Agile/iterative development methodologies. Exposure to geospatial technologies such as ArcGIS and integration with enterprise databases. Scripting skills for automation of reporting, license tracking, and account management. SAP knowledge Control-M Experience Halvik's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
