Senior Product Manager, Catalog Quality

The Catalog Quality team ensures our catalog is complete, correct, and consistent so customers can trust what they see, shoppers can reliably pick the right items in stores, and merchants and CPGs can understand and improve their performance.
Own the strategy and roadmap for how Uber classifies products, models variant and product relationships, and defines product identity and uniqueness to maintain a consistent and accurate canonical catalog that powers critical use cases like reorders, item-forward shopping across merchants, and fulfillment optimization.
Work closely with Engineering and Science teams to design scalable products and workflows (using ML or LLMs where helpful) that classify products accurately, resolve duplicates, and improve the quality and consistency of our canonical catalog.
Dive deep into data and customer insights to understand the problem space and opportunity areas, ensuring we build solutions that meaningfully improve the customer experience and drive desired business outcomes.
5+ years of Product Management experience delivering successful, technically complex products.
~ Bachelor degree or equivalent.
~ Comfortable working with messy, real-world operational data and using it to inform how we manage the catalog.
~ Clear, structured communicator who can break down complex topics, explain the why, and build conviction across cross-functional partners. Experience with data modeling, particularly designing or working with taxonomies and ontologies that define product meaning and relationships.
Background in retail or e-commerce, particularly working with catalog or inventory data.
