Gynecology NP/PA Opening in South Boston, Virginia Location: South Boston, VA Position Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Work Week Options: 4 or 5 days based on preference Setting: 100% Outpatient Patient Volume: Average of 18 patients per day Job Description: Seeking a dedicated Gynecology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-established outpatient practice in South Boston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gynecological care, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of various gynecological conditions. Responsibilities: Conduct annual well-women exams and routine gynecological visits Perform pap-smears, STI consults, and treat acute gynecological conditions Conduct minor procedures, including colposcopies, LEEPs, IUD insertion/removal, and Nexplanon placement/removal Provide patient education and counseling on reproductive health Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia Certification in Women's Health, Family Medicine, or a related specialty preferred Experience in gynecological care, including procedures and patient management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary $5,000 Annual Quality Performance Incentive (QPI) Bonus $10,000 Student Loan Forgiveness Program $3,000 Annual CME Allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans with employer matching Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Licenses, certifications, and professional dues paid Fully integrated Epic EHR system PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) Eligibility Non-Profit Employer About South Boston: Located in southern Virginia, South Boston offers a blend of small-town charm and modern conveniences.
