We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon beginning Dec 30, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage, caring for pediatric and neonatal patients in a rural setting with a focus on pediatric critical care experience. The assignment includes coverage of a nursery with neonatal beds for advanced care or close observation, as well as mother/baby rooms. Job Details Location: Oregon Start Date: Dec 30, 2025 LOA: 5 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist Schedule: Dec 30, 2025 Jan 3, 2026, 24-hour call coverage Responsibilities and Duties Provide hospital-based care for pediatric patients, including newborns and infants in a nursery setting Manage neonatal beds for babies requiring advanced care or close observation Oversee care in mother/baby rooms Deliver care in a rural environment and ensure high-quality patient outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support pediatric and neonatal patients Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation Additional Information Clean background required to grant temporary privileges Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification required Experience with pediatric critical care preferred Must be comfortable working in a rural environment Oregon medical license required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
