_Commercial HVAC/R Technician _ Job Description *HVAC/R Service Technician Charlotte, NC* *)**JOB SUMMARY: *Candidates wishing to be considered for the HVAC Technician role *must have at least 5 years of HVAC Technician Service or HVAC installation experience *as well as an *EPA certification*. We are currently looking for a full-time service technician for Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas to work in the *supermarket refrigeration field*. This is a wonderful opportunity with hands-on training, great benefits, and room for growth within the organization. *JOB REQUIREMENTS:** The HVAC Technician will provide maintenance, diagnose and repair various commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. * HVAC technicians will replace any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems. * Lay out and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram, using an electrician’s hand tools. * Obtain and maintain required certifications as they pertain to HVAC technician duties. * HVAC Technicians will be required to inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions. * Maintain cleaning coils and leak checking. * Testing HVAC and refrigeration systems and components. * Other duties may be assigned as needed. *JOB QUALIFICATIONS:** Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior experience working as an HVAC technician or HVAC installer. * Candidates must have an EPA certification that is up to date and valid. * Clean driving record. * Knowledge and understanding of HVAC service and installation techniques. * Must be able to pass a drug screening. * High School degree or equivalent. *JOB BENEFITS:** Year round work stability * Company vehicle/uniform * Paid vacation/holidays * Competitive pay- negotiable based on experience * Quarterly bonuses * Hands on training * Group health insurance, including dental, for employee and family * 401K Retirement Program * Overtime pay if applicable * Work with the latest technology in the HVAC/R industry Job Type: Full-time Required education: * High school or equivalent Required experience: * HVAC Experience: 5 years Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $38.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k)* 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
