ENT Opportunity - Altoona, PA (Safe, Family Friendly, 4-Season Outdoor Recreation) J1 & H1 Visa Accepted UPMC Altoona is affiliated with the world-renowned University of Pittsburgh Medical Center hospital network and insurer. UPMC Altoona is a 400-bed regional health care system, providing care to residents of a six-county service area in central Pennsylvania. UPMC Altoona is a PA Trauma Systems Foundation accredited level II trauma center, with a regional oncology center, and is a JCAHO-accredited stroke center. UPMC Altoona provides comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, behavioral health, vascular and endovascular surgery, neurosurgery, and a wound care center.Our Medical StaffOur medical staff is comprised of 400+ practicing physicians. That includes 70+ primary care physicians, interventional cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, nephrology, neurology, medical and radiation oncology, psychiatry, and endocrinology. Also included in our staff is a 20+ physician hospitalist team, a full service intensivist staff, and a team of interventional radiologists.About UPMC Altoona Ear, Nose, and ThroatUPMC Altoona Ear, Nose, and Throat provides the full complement of Otolaryngology head and neck surgery services to patients that are referred from the primary care physicians in our community, patients referred from neighboring communities, and patients from the hospitals Emergency and Trauma Departments.The practice, an Altoona office, has just relocated to a newly constructed 90,000 sq. ft. medical office complex which also houses audiology and an allergy and immunology service.
