Whether it’s a self-cleaning litter box that automates scooping, an automatic feeder that helps pets develop healthier eating habits, or a modern cat tree that delights both humans and felines, we strive to deliver better solutions for consumers while transforming pet care along the way. The Electrical Engineer will design SOC and MCU based products that include but are not limited to: analog front-end circuitry, high-speed digital interfaces (LCD, digital Camera, etc), Bluetooth, WiFi, system level integration, analog power systems including SMPS, illumination, user interface, sensors (gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity, hall effect, magnetometer), sensors and motors. The Electrical Engineer will work with the engineering team and product managers to drive the electrical engineering projects within existing and upcoming connected pet care products.
End to end ownership of electrical circuit and systems design from concept to production:
Performs digital and analog hardware verification in the lab and writing test reports
Responsible for all aspects of ensuring a quality design
Ensures design is optimized for performance and cost
Partners with the engineering team and product managers to drive the electrical engineering projects within existing and upcoming connected pet care products
BS in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering and / or equivalent years of experience
7+ Years Experience as an Electrical Engineer
Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design including worst case circuit analysis
Experience with PCB CAD (Schematic, PCB Layout and Routing), preferably in Altium
Experience with operating Lab Equipment such as Power Supplies, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, etc.
Experience with sensors, motors, actuators, cameras and other UI/UX components
Experience with soldering and basic electronic hand tools
Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
