Job tasks include administering allergy injections, performing patient intake (taking vital signs and medication/medical/social/family histories), patient education as well as a variety of testing procedures (scratch testing, intradermal testing, patch testing, pulmonary function testing, NIOX, among others).
Qualifications
- Must have a valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license (NY)
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and documenting them accurately in EMR systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience with Medent EMR systems would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, including children
- Certification in areas such as basic life support is preferred
