Norman Regional Health System, a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist.
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate professional to prepare equipment, maintain a sterile environment, and work closely with physicians to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This role plays a critical part in our innovative cardiovascular program, utilizing cutting-edge technology in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower.
The ideal candidate will have completed a formal Radiologic Technology program, possess relevant certifications, and be able to effectively collaborate within a dynamic healthcare setting.
A competitive salary of $32-$52 per hour reflects the level of expertise required for this position. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and sterility.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to departmental policies and guidelines.
Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to facilitate seamless communication and effective treatment plans.
Participate in new hire orientation and training programs, serving as a preceptor and mentor to junior staff members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of employment.
