Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting new hires while collaborating with a team of cardiologists. This role requires certification in Radiologic Technology and offers opportunities for professional development and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
Maintains a sterile environment and ensures proper patient care.
Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Participates in the orientation of new staff members.
Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms and checking equipment.
Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
A degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
Basic Life Support training and re-training every two years.
Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
