Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team and contribute to the growth of our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower.
Our hospital system has earned prestigious accolades, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment before and during procedures , ensuring optimal functionality and patient safety.
Assess patient conditions
and provide tailored care, collaborating closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Maintain a sterile environment
throughout procedures, adhering to strict accreditation standards.
Serve as a
preceptor for new hires and radiology students , facilitating their integration into our team.
Utilize downtime effectively by performing tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated responsibilities assigned by Charge person or manager.
Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership, promoting excellent patient care and adherence to accreditation standards.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
A formal education in Radiologic Technology or a related field is essential.
Prior experience in procedural areas is preferred.
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training are mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
Norman Regional Health System offers an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on prior work experience.
