We take pride in our innovative cardiovascular program, which features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists work together to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiac conditions.
Norman Regional Health System has received numerous awards and accolades, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Job Responsibilities

Pre-procedure Preparation:

Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Patient Assessment and Care:

Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care according to established protocols.
Sterile Environment Maintenance:

Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
Professional Practice:

Engage in ongoing professional development, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the growth and development of colleagues.
Preceptorship and Orientation:

Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff members.
Downtime Productivity:

Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Certifications:

Possess current RCIS certification and BLS training, with ACLS training to be achieved within six months of hire.
Education:

Hold a degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or a 24-month formal program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience:

Preferably have previous procedural area experience, with at least one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting.
Benefits

$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
