We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Technologist to join our innovative cardiovascular program.
About the Job
This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality patient care through equipment preparation, patient assessment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
The successful candidate will have completed a formal radiologic technology program or military training and possess comprehensive skills in radiologic technology.
As part of a collaborative team, the technologist will serve as a mentor for new hires, supporting the hospital's mission of excellence in cardiac care.
Responsibilities
Maintain a sterile environment during procedures
Assess patient condition and provide relevant care
Prepare and position patients for procedures
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Maintain professional relationships with physicians and leadership
Requirements
Completed Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT
Basic Life Support certification required, ACLS certification must be achieved within 6 months
Compensation
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
