About Us:
Hunterdon Gastroenterology Associates is a premier gastroenterology practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Our team is passionate about fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, and we are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join us.
Position Overview:
As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care and assisting our healthcare team in a fast-paced gastroenterology setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and performing health assessments.
Assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients on gastrointestinal health and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in patient follow-ups and care coordination.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in New Jersey.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in gastroenterology or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
