Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist

This position requires a strong background in Radiologic Technology and Cardiovascular credentials. The technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. In addition to these key responsibilities, the technologist will also serve as a mentor to new hires, ensuring a high standard of patient care in collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation : Prepare all necessary equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Patient Assessment : Identify and assess patient conditions to provide personalized care and attention.
Sterile Environment Maintenance : Establish and maintain a sterile environment during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Mentorship and Training : Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Radiologic Technology Background : Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
CV or CI Certification : Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
BLS and ACLS Training : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
Previous Procedural Area Experience : One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
Compensation includes an estimated
$35-$55 per hour , along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
