Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, recognized for its innovative cardiovascular program. As we prepare to move into our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, we are seeking a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular program.
Maintaining a sterile environment and preparing equipment before and during procedures
Assessing patient conditions and providing patient care
Supporting new hires and technical staff through precepting and orientation
Collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
Equipment Preparation : Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient process
Patient Care : Assess patient conditions, provide patient care, and maintain a clean and safe environment
Team Collaboration : Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care and support new hires and technical staff
Professional Practice : Maintain a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Requirements:
Education : Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility
Certification : Registered and/or RCIS certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) training; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
Experience : Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
Compensation:
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
