In the Cardiovascular Imaging Department at Norman Regional Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing medical equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
Equipment Preparation : The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain medical equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and hospital policies.
Patient Care : Provide high-quality patient care by assessing patient conditions, preparing, positioning, and providing necessary support during procedures.
Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certification : Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration, and/or current Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS).
Experience : Previous experience in a procedural area, preferably in a Cath Lab setting, is preferred but not required.
Licensure and Certification : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire, and maintenance through employment duration.
Salary and Benefits
