Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist

Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled and caring Registered Technologist to expand our innovative cardiovascular program. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our hospital system has earned numerous awards for cardiology excellence, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, the American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, and the Women's Choice Award in Heart Care.
Responsibilities

Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in staff orientation.
Use downtime efficiently by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications

Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months and all departmental competencies within 6 months.
Education: Complete a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Compensation

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
